Job Summary
Support and organize the Canadian Customs function for Richemont in Mississauga. Responsibilities include matching advice notifications with arrival notifications, preparing electronic clearance (B3) for shipments, handling paper entries for government-clearance items (e.g., CITES, wood products), submitting LVS entries for low-value shipments, processing supplementary payments/drawbacks, and preparing CITES permit applications. Assist with re-export NAFTA considerations, verify delivery notes against invoices, and ensure documentation supports control processes. Requires a university/college degree or diploma, CCS designation preferred, 1–2 years of related experience, and strong MS Office, SAP, and MSR skills, with excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Qualifications
- University or college degree/diploma
- Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-oriented
- Problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP and MSR system
- Good understanding of the Canadian customs process
