Job Summary
Greet customers, answer product inquiries, and process purchases efficiently while upselling selected items and highlighting multi-buy offers. Manage store operations by working stock, checking deliveries, stocking shelves, and rotating inventory to ensure freshness. Complete additional tasks including date and gap checking, price updates, and maintaining promotional displays. Adhere to all company policies and retail legislative responsibilities. Work 16 hours per week between 8am and 8pm at SPAR Hillsborough. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliably follows instructions and procedures with excellent attention to detail
- Some understanding of legislative responsibilities of a retail environment and the skills to assist with adherence
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred
- Experience of using a 'Challenge 25' policy desirable
- Keen and enthusiastic approach to working both in a team and independently
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not essential
