Job Summary
Greet customers, answer inquiries, and process purchases efficiently while upselling selected products and highlighting multi-buy offers. Manage store operations by working stock, checking deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean sales floor through rotating stock and completing assigned tasks like date checking and promotional displays. Ensure accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies, including the 'Challenge 25' policy. Requires a Basic DBS check, minimum 18 years of age, and 12 hours per week including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliably follows instructions and procedures with excellent attention to detail
- Some understanding of legislative responsibilities of a retail environment and the skills to assist with adherence
- Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business forward
- Keen and enthusiastic approach to working both in a team and independently
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred
- Experience of using a 'Challenge 25' policy desirable
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not essential
