Job Summary
Lead a small team in a Co-op store, owning the day-to-day operations on shift. Motivate, coach, and support a team on the shop floor and tills to deliver excellent service and efficient operations. Support merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes, and champion the Co-op through community engagement and membership growth. May involve working in the post office or bakery or supporting online/home delivery services. Flexible weekend/evening shifts with at least one weekend day; assessable via mobile assessments; role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and community-focused duties in a part-time, 15-hours-per-week framework with overtime. Must be aged 18 or older. Training and benefits provided, including store discounts, pension contributions, and holiday entitlement.
Required Qualifications
- minimum criteria: age 18+
- retail/merchandising or team management experience preferred (not essential)
- flexible availability including at least 1 weekend shift
- closing shifts on weekends 2pm-10pm
- part-time 15 hours per week + regular overtime
