Job Summary
Lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, owning day-to-day operations on your shift. Motivate, coach, and support the team to deliver great service and efficient store operations on the shop floor and tills. Support merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes while championing Co-op membership and community engagement. The role may involve working in post office, bakery, online services, or home delivery contexts, with flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. Requires passion for people, leadership, and the ability to work flexibly; retail, merchandising, or team-management experience is desirable. The position is part-time (20 hours per week) with overtime opportunities and a permanent contract, located at a Co-op store in Fulham, London.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in retail or team management preferred (not essential)
- Leadership ability
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- Age 18+ for age-related sales
- Good customer service and community engagement skills
