Job Summary
Customer Team Leader role at Co-op in UK stores. Lead a small team on shift to run day-to-day store operations, including post office counters when applicable. Responsibilities include motivating and coaching staff, hands-on work on shop floor and tills, supporting merchandise and stock accuracy, and driving community engagement and Co-op membership growth. Must be flexible to cover early/late shifts (6.30am-2pm or 2pm-10pm), with 20-30 hours per week plus overtime. Prior experience in retail, merchandising, or team management is helpful but not essential; training and career development are provided. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver excellent service while upholding company policies and benefits like staff discounts and pension.
