Job Summary
Lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, overseeing day-to-day operations on your shift and ensuring great service. Responsibilities include motivating and coaching the team, working hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes, and driving community engagement and membership growth. The role involves flexible shifts including opening, closing, mid-day, at least 2 evenings and 1 weekend shift, with overtime opportunities and a permanent full-time contract. You’ll play a key role in delivering services to the community, potentially involved in post office or bakery tasks and supporting online services/home delivery where applicable. Key requirements include leadership, a flexible approach, and experience in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential).
