Job Summary
Lead a small team in a Co-op store, taking the day-to-day reigns on shift by motivating and coaching colleagues to deliver great service, managing tills and post office counter transactions, supporting merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes, and driving community engagement and membership growth. You’ll work hands-on on the shop floor with flexibility across opening, closing, and mid-day shifts, including at least two evenings and one weekend shift, and you may be stationed in the post office or bakery or supporting online/home delivery services as needed. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, operational efficiency, and community involvement within a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership experience in retail or team management
- flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- 18+ age for age-related sales
- ability to work across store operations (post office/bakery/online services)
- ability to lead a small team and deliver customer service excellence
