Job Summary
Customer Support Specialist providing order processing and sales-support for a regional Central-to-West U.S. territory. Responsibilities include processing orders for products/services, proactive follow-up on order backlog, coordinating with departments on status, shipping, pricing, and availability, maintaining virtual customer files, resolving billing issues with A/R, providing price availability and formal quotations, and backing up teammates as needed. The role emphasizes legendary customer service with prompt, thorough, and empathetic communication; requires ERP experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently within a matrixed organization. Preferred experience includes Salesforce.com (CRM) and SCPQ tools, supporting engineered projects from quote/bid to order delivery and invoicing, and continuous improvement practices. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in order management, billing, sales support, or related experience
- Experience in A/R preferred
- Legendary customer service skills; an unwavering passion for taking care of the customer
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong & respectful collaborative skills and business acumen
- Ability to work with diverse workforce and customer base in a matrixed organization
- Technical aptitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
