Job Summary
Provide expert remote support and guidance on accounting and product-related queries, configuring and customizing Cloudware to meet customers' business needs. Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver effective solutions while translating customer feedback into product improvements. Document complex accounting scenarios and challenge existing processes to identify opportunities for better ways of working. This role requires at least one year of experience as an Accounting Technician and native-level Portuguese skills. You will join a multicultural team at Shine, a Cegid subsidiary serving over one million small businesses across Europe.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as an Accounting Technician in an accounting firm or similar environment
- Solid knowledge of Bookkeeping and accounting entries
- Solid knowledge of Bank reconciliations
- Solid knowledge of VAT calculation and submission
- Solid knowledge of Portuguese tax obligations (Modelo 10, Modelo 22, IES, and related filings)
- Solid knowledge of Payroll processing
- Solid knowledge of Fixed asset management
- Solid knowledge of Month-end and year-end closing
- Native-level Portuguese
- Good English communication skills

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP or accounting software, particularly Cloudware/Cegid Business
