Job Summary
Provide expert technical and customer support for PerkSpot’s community across phone, email, and live chat; become adept with PerkSpot’s tools and website while facilitating high-quality service to members and client partners. Document and prioritize active tickets from inquiry to resolution, escalate issues as needed, assist with new user setup and account maintenance, and collaborate with senior team members to enhance customer satisfaction. Build relationships with internal teams and customers, solicit and relay feedback, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Requires 3+ years of customer support experience, knowledge of Zendesk preferred, strong written and verbal communication, highly organized problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in the office three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) in Chicago, IL. Pay is $21.10 per hour plus a $2,000 annual bonus, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive, value-driven culture.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in customer support
- Experience managing support tickets across multiple channels (phone, email, live chat)
- Basic understanding of computer and home networking terminology (OS, browsers, routers, modems)
- Knowledge of Zendesk preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical problem-solving
- Collaborative and team-focused mindset
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload
