Job Summary
Customer Support Specialist at Computercraft will provide email support to researchers, administrators, and other stakeholders using SciENcv and related NCBI systems, triage and resolve a high volume of inquiries, troubleshoot accounts and submission issues, collaborate with internal/external teams to implement solutions, contribute to test scripts and functional testing of new features, and help develop user guidance materials. Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years in a customer service environment, experience searching technical/scientific databases, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a high-volume, dynamic setting. The role includes potentialPublic Trust clearance eligibility and a standard 40-hour work week at a Bethesda, MD location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two years’ experience in a customer service environment
- Experience searching in technical or scientific databases
- Proven ability to work effectively in team environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
