Job Summary
The Customer Support Representative (CSR) provides exceptional customer service in a call center environment as the initial point of contact for members. Responsibilities include addressing client inquiries, providing clear explanations, resolving issues with empathy, processing routine insurance changes, and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA regulations. The role demands dependability, excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Prior inbound call center or medical/insurance experience is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Inbound Call Center experience
- Medical and/or Insurance experience
- 4 year degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to provide effective leadership in all aspects of position
- Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
Desired Qualifications
- Call center experience in a medical/benefits environment highly preferred
- Medical/Benefits Experience highly preferred
- UR/Claims/COBRA/FSA/Eligibility Experience preferred
