Job Summary
Perform receipting, cash application and customer account maintenance activities, including any required post-processing and follow-up activities. Responsible for the day to day maintenance of workload distribution (e.g. email and query management). Primary Responsibilities • Ensure compliance with QBE policies, procedures and relevant legislations. •Take ownership of the ledger and ensure that all avenues are explored to collect any outstanding debt. •Ensure all payments are made on a timely basis and are accurate to maintain the reputation of QBE •Build and maintain good working relationships with both external and internal stakeholders •Processing basic and routine functions related to Accounts Receivable (Credit Control) duties, including cash application, active monitoring of outstanding customer balances, supporting collections activities and preparing related documentation and correspondence. •Making data entries in the system and extracting statistical data and reports from records for analysis. •Respond to telephone/email inquiries from customers in order to provide and excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 0-1 year relevant experience
