Customer Support Engineer

Job Summary
On-site customer service for complex semiconductor capital equipment; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment at customer sites; be the face of the company and ensure customer satisfaction; coordinate actions with customers to minimize downtime; assist Installation Engineers in resolving problems; willing to travel domestically and internationally; must have hands-on ability across software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems; fluent in English and French; possess strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills and a full driver’s license; training at centers in California, Singapore, or Taiwan is part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Level Degree or Bachelor's Level Degree with related work experience as specified in the posting
Desired Qualifications
- Certified engineer or degree from advanced technical school or ~3 years industry working experience
- Technical military occupational specialties and training may be considered
- Ability to understand and tackle problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems
- Experience working on electronic systems within semiconductor, medical devices, defense, aerospace, or aviation industry is a plus
- Outstanding interpersonal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of engaging empathetically with customers, ensuring a positive experience, while fostering a collaborative environment to address their needs and concerns
- Fluent in English and French language is a must
- Full driver’s license
