Customer Support Engineer

Job Summary
Customer Support Engineer (Remote in Ireland) responsible for providing pre- and post-sales technical support via email, phone, and remote access, including delivering presentations, training, and demos; writing and proofreading self-help/docs; escalating issues; collaborating with Engineering and Marketing on product development; contributing to RCA documents; reporting and qualifying JIRA issues; developing tools to automate Support processes; and independently troubleshooting complex network problems. Requires intermediate knowledge of DHCP/DNS, Linux/Solaris administration, TCP/IP, and experience troubleshooting databases (Oracle/Postgres/MySQL/Mongo); familiarity with REST APIs, SOAP, XML, and SDKs; experience with Zendesk; knowledge of routers/switches hardware; and 2 years of relevant experience. Education: post-secondary degree. Work is fully remote from Ireland with optional Dublin office for in-person meetings.
