Job Summary
Provide banking services via telephone and/or internet, developing customer relationships and promoting bank products. Responsibilities include answering incoming calls from the Call Center, guiding customers or routing inquiries, assisting with online and mobile banking, debit and credit cards, account inquiries and transfers, and supporting internal users with password resets and system functionality. Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, pursue self-development, handle departmental supplies, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. The role is in-office with a rotating schedule (early start as 6:45am to 6:00pm, occasional Saturday).
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of banking and related products and services typically acquired through 1-3 years of experience in a bank customer service role
- Must work both independently and be a team player
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods on the phone and concentrate visually on a PC
- Position requires judgment, tact and on-the-spot decision making
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
