Job Summary
Serve as the primary operational liaison for a strategic customer, managing material availability, inventory accuracy, and artwork compliance from raw material receipt through manufacturing execution. Coordinate customer requests across Procurement, Quality, Operations, and Warehouse while leading regular operational meetings to resolve issues and maintain production continuity. Own day-to-day management of materials and packaging, including procurement of raw materials and components, monitoring inventory levels, and resolving supplier shortages. Provide manufacturing schedule guidance based on material availability, support product development trials, and ensure all incoming materials progress efficiently through receiving, sampling, and quality testing. Maintain accurate inventory records, execute cycle count programs, and investigate discrepancies within ERP systems. Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution of supply chain issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or Related Field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, inventory management, or manufacturing operations
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong inventory management experience
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Primary work location is Lindon, Utah
- Periodic travel to the Layton, Utah manufacturing facility
- Occasional supplier or customer visits including travel to Vancouver, Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in dietary supplement, food, pharmaceutical, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing
- ERP/MRP system experience (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- APICS/ASCM certification
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Understanding of GMP and FDA-regulated manufacturing environments
- Customer-focused mindset
