Job Summary

Customer Success Engineer at Nexla responsible for acting as the technical bridge between global customers and internal Engineering. Own end-to-end resolution of complex data integration issues, perform deep investigations using Python, SQL, and REST APIs, drive root cause analysis, and ensure customers achieve their data goals. Willing to work in a 24x7 global environment with shift rotations. Provide multi-channel troubleshooting support (email, tickets, Slack, meetings), document solutions in the knowledge base, collaborate with multiple Engineering teams, and contribute to product releases and global alerts. Requires strong programming in Python, solid database experience, REST API expertise, experience with data formats (CSV, XML, JSON, Parquet), familiarity with Apache Airflow, and experience across Windows and UNIX/Linux. Location is Anywhere in India with a preference for Bengaluru. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in technical support or related fields
  • Strong Python programming
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with databases (SQL, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL Server)
  • Extensive experience and a solid understanding of REST APIs and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, SSO, token-based authentication)
  • Proficiency in quickly writing Python or Shell scripts to assist in debugging or setting up alerts
  • Good knowledge of data formats (CSV, XML, JSON, Parquet)
  • Familiarity with Apache Airflow is an added advantage
  • Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows and UNIX/Linux)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration in a global environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative setting
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including nights and weekends)
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive issue resolution
