Job Summary
Conduct industry and location-specific research for clients, identifying federal, state, county, and municipal business licensing requirements. Create business-specific research results for timely delivery, capturing licensure specifications including forms, hyperlinks, supporting documents, exam requirements, prerequisites, turnaround times, fees, and renewal data. Communicate directly with government agencies to assist with inquiries and provide proactive updates to clients and partners regarding order statuses and delays. Concisely convey findings via oral and written correspondence while offering cross-team support to enhance industry and licensing expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
- 0-3 years of experience, preferably in the licensing or compliance field
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate with partner representatives, government agencies, colleagues, and clients
- Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and consistency
- Ability to work independently, handle pressure, multi-task, and prioritize work at all times
- Use of considerable tact and discretion when dealing with partners, clients, or sensitive data
- Excellent organizational and both verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and desire to work in a challenging environment
- Ability to adapt to a changing regulatory environment
- Outstanding skills using computers in a Windows-based environment, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF
- Must be able to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process
- Candidates must participate in interviews without the assistance of AI tools or external prompts
- Candidates must not use AI-generated responses or third-party support during interviews
