Job Summary

Understand HCP office processes and offer electronic portal solutions to improve patient prescription experiences. Represent AbbVie's in-office portals and other electronic solutions as a subject matter expert while partnering with field teams to implement these tools. Evaluate and diagnose areas of delay or disruption in the patient Rx experience to determine if digital solutions are helpful. Develop relationships with HCP offices by providing regular updates on new functionality and matching features to patient needs. Communicate with AbbVie field teams in a compliant manner. This role is field-based, requiring a valid driver's license and ability to maintain a fleet vehicle, with candidates living within a reasonable distance of Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane, Yakima, or Juneau.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant and equivalent industry experience
  • 2 or more years experience working with drugs requiring prior authorization and use of specialty pharmacies for prescriptions to be filled
  • Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the immunology specialty biologics space (Buy and Bill, Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for and maintain fleet vehicle
  • Strong computer aptitude including understanding of Windows and internet browsers

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior health care sales experience
  • Experience working in a health care environment
  • Excellent territory and account management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally, leveraging aligned interests in order to drive results
  • Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements affecting prescribing pharmaceuticals
  • Demonstrated ability to uncover patient needs indirectly through dialogue and querying of healthcare providers
  • Demonstrated ability to map and understand internal processes. Can use information gathered to think strategically and to handle complex HCP settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others, including internal peers, through knowledge
