Job Summary
Conduct early-stage technical discussions with customers to understand application needs and develop customized quotations and proposals for qualified opportunities. Serve as the primary technical contact from RFQ through production launch, presenting solutions based on product and tooling requirements while building long-term relationships with clients and OEMs. Interpret customer drawings and specifications for manufacturability, recommend material choices and process improvements, and use mold flow analysis to optimize gate placement and cycle time. Coordinate quoting efforts, track project status, and maintain accurate CRM records of interactions and pipeline activity. Travel up to 50% to perform site visits, product demos, and technical reviews. Requires 5-7 years of injection molding experience, strong 3D CAD skills, and U.S. citizen status due to ITAR compliance.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen status
- Eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years of previous injection molding/ mold building experience
- High degree of proficiency in 3D CAD modeling
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be a team player
- Willing to learn new skills and concepts
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, materials, and tooling
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and mold flow simulations
- Customer-centric and solutions-driven mindset
- Ability to lift 50lbs independently
- Ability and comfortability to work in small confine spaces while following proper safety protocol
- Knowledgeable of standard safety policies and procedures
- Compliance with company hazardous waste disposal procedures
- Travel Required: Up to 50%
