Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective Custom & Bulk projects, acting as the conduit between operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure project feasibility. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop accurate project cost estimates, generate proposals and quotations, and coordinate activities for timely delivery aligned with site capabilities. Identify and escalate risks impacting customer satisfaction or project execution while applying lessons learned to improve future processes. Hold stakeholders accountable for agreed actions to foster collaborative relationships that support profitable growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline
- Experience working with analytical chemistry, custom chemicals, or related technical products
- Experience collaborating across commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams
- Strong customer focus with a proven ability to build lasting relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Strong business acumen and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with a high degree of autonomy
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- Business or Project Management qualification or certification
- Prior chemical manufacturing or plant experience
