Job Summary
Modernization Engineer in KONE's Customer Solution Engineering Department based in Istanbul. Responsible for identifying the optimal KONE products to meet non-standard and modernization needs, selecting the product platform, coordinating with Supply Line and other teams to ensure accurate costing and lead times, and creating product specifications while coordinating between corporate, local sourcing, and Front Lines to deliver optimal solutions. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, 3-5 years in the elevator industry (preferred), AutoCAD experience (1-2 years), strong MS Office and English communication, and ability to collaborate across cultures. Knowledge of elevator/escalator and Advanced People Flow solutions is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
- AutoCAD experience 1-2 years (preferred)
