Job Summary
The Customer Solution Engineer (MP Tender) at KONE is responsible for providing technical expertise in aligning KONE products with customer specifications, including escalators, elevators, and third-party equipment. Key responsibilities include communication with customers to clarify technical queries, collaboration with sales to find optimal technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with local codes and safety requirements. The role requires participation in product release sessions and contribution to the Customer Solutions Engineering network. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in the elevator industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the elevator business or another relevant field
- Understanding of different building types and customer segments
- Good knowledge of environmental and sustainability requirements and norms
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic language skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills
- Good CAD and optional BIM skills
- Basic knowledge of competitors’ products
- Good understanding of a product’s total costing and local norms and regulations
