Job Summary
Modernization Engineer for the Customer Solution Engineering Department, based in Dubai, UAE, focusing on identifying the best KONE products for non-standard and modernization cases, selecting product platforms, coordinating with Supply Line and local sourcing to ensure accurate costing, and managing lead times. Responsibilities include creating product specifications, coordinating between corporate, local sourcing, and Front Lines to deliver optimal solutions, providing technical training to Sales, Installation, and Maintenance, contributing to product offering customization and standardization, and serving as the primary front-line technical contact for the Supply Line. Proficient in AutoCAD; BIM skills advantageous; strong English communication; knowledge of building modernization processes and relevant norms is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Advanced level of English (written and verbal)
- Understanding of different building types and customer segments
- Understanding of construction and modernization processes in the industry
- Knowledge of KONE product-related norms and standards is a plus
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; BIM skills are a plus
- Excellent virtual collaboration skills
- Ability to translate customer needs into product offerings
