Job Summary
Facilitate new hire onboarding, reinforcement, and refresher training programs across departments using classroom, one-on-one, and hands-on sessions. Adapt facilitation techniques to varying learning styles while guiding employees through systems, workflows, and company standards via scenario-based learning. Prepare training materials, manage attendance records, and coordinate scheduling with department leaders and subject matter experts. Provide individualized coaching to reinforce concepts in the workplace and support post-training follow-up for sustained performance improvement. Partner with supervisors to identify skill gaps and communicate learner trends to the Training Manager for program optimization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in training delivery, employee development, coaching, customer service, operations, or a related field
- Experience working in a service, operational, administrative, or similar business environment
- Ability to learn and effectively train employees on a variety of company systems, processes, procedures, and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and department leadership to deliver role-specific training
- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds rarely
- This position requires on-site presence at our Enfield, CT location, and remote work arrangements are unavailable for this role
- Occasional local travel
Desired Qualifications
- Previous classroom facilitation, corporate training, or employee development experience
- Experience delivering adult learning programs
- Experience coaching or developing employees in operational, service, administrative, or similar business environments
- Experience supporting training across multiple departments or job functions preferred
- Waste and recycling industry experience preferred
