Job Summary
Research inquiries via the claims processing system and respond to customer, group, and provider questions through telephone or written communication. Maintain departmental records, operate office equipment, and make corrections to claims and eligibility. Enter new claims, eligibility, and subscriber information into the mainframe while reviewing coverage to determine benefit types and levels. Complete a customer service simulation test with a minimum score of 62 out of 100. Candidates must reside in Michigan for hybrid training and team meetings, with bidding shifts starting at 8:25 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of a computer program to assist the customer, preferably in a call center, and/or dental experience
- Successful completion of the customer service simulation test (minimum score of 62 out of a possible 100)
- Ability to begin work 8:25 a.m. or work until 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Ability to begin work at 11:00 a.m. or work until 12:00 Midnight, Monday through Friday
