Job Summary

On-site Customer Service Representative in Charleston, WV, acting as a liaison between Labcorp, customers, and patients. Responsibilities include resolving routine customer requests via inbound/outbound calls or the Internet, communicating professionally with customers, inquiring and clarifying requirements, providing additional customer education, qualifying inbound new customers, researching complex issues in multiple databases, notifying clients of test results timely, reviewing test forms for accuracy, reporting discrepancies, and participating in activities to improve customer satisfaction. Performs administrative support for medical record management, CRM data maintenance, and HIPAA compliance; supports Labcorp’s commitment to patient care and service excellence. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm; on-site role with potential overtime depending on business needs. Benefits and company information included in posting.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 months or more of customer service experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree preferred
  • 3 months or more of contact center or call center environment
  • 3 months or more of healthcare industry experience, such as a physician's office or a hospital
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
