Job Summary
Pet Host Lead supervises front desk operations, coaches Pet Hosts, drives reservations and membership sales, and supports occupancy and revenue goals while maintaining lobby safety and presentation. Responsibilities include leading shifts, training hosts, ensuring service and documentation standards, guiding promotions and upsell opportunities, handling escalated client concerns, conducting tours for prospective clients, explaining services (daycare, boarding, grooming, training), promoting packages and seasonal promotions, managing check-in/check-out, and coordinating with care teams. Key skills: leadership, customer service, sales conversations, ability to explain value, pricing discussions, strong organizational and communication abilities, and comfort with weekends/holidays. Animal experience is a plus but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year supervisory experience
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Lift up to 60 lbs
- Stand for extended periods
