Job Summary

Customer Service Specialist in Branch Operations role focusing on delivering excellent customer service during daily banking transactions and performing operational duties in item processing and deposit systems. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, referring to appropriate banking staff for products/services, opening and securing night deposit and vault access with dual control, documenting and processing deposits, handling deposits delivered by courier/Brinks and incoming mail, verifying and balancing cash drawers daily, maintaining cash and drawer limits per Bank policy, preparing cash/change orders, conducting monthly cash audits, and assisting supervisor with other duties. Required skills include strong customer service, problem resolution, cash handling, accuracy in deposits and cash reconciliation, confidentiality of customer information, professional presentation, teamwork, effective communication across all levels, and solid PC capability.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Five (5) years of work experience in Bank Operations
  • Cash Handling
  • Present a professional image
  • Interact well with clients, co-workers and management
  • Maintains confidentiality of customer account information
  • Good PC knowledge
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels
