Job Summary
Receive and respond to incoming service calls, emails, and online requests related to medical imaging equipment repairs and supply needs. Gather detailed information from customers to accurately create and prioritize work orders, then coordinate repair scheduling with field service engineers, vendors, and internal support teams. Monitor service ticket progress, maintain accurate documentation in the service management system, and provide routine status updates to ensure timely completion. Support preventive maintenance scheduling, review service requests to determine billing status, and create purchase orders as needed. This daytime schedule works 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a rotating on-call schedule every three weeks earning $250/week. DMS Health Technologies, a leader in medical imaging care for 50 years, seeks this on-site specialist at its Sioux Falls location to manage equipment uptime and deliver exceptional customer service through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1–2 years of customer service experience
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage service calls in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computer systems, service ticketing software, and Microsoft Office applications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm and helpful under pressure
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to perform keyboarding, phone pad, and ten-key skills
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Must be available for daytime schedule working shifts between the hours of 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
- Must be available for a rotating on call schedule once every three weeks
- Must be able to work on-call shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Must be able to work on-call schedule from 6:00 p.m.-midnight, and from 5:00-7:00 a.m., CST Monday-Friday
- Must be able to work on-call schedule from 5:00 a.m.-midnight, CST on Saturdays, Sundays, and DMS observed holidays
- Must be able to work on-site, office-based position located at our Sioux Falls site at 109 South Petro Avenue
- Must be able to work remote or hybrid work is not available for this role
- Must be able to complete a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
