Job Summary
Customer Service Specialist for Priority Worldwide in Montreal (French follows). Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries, shipment updates, pickups, quotations, and service requests; act as liaison between customers, operations, sales, overseas agents, carriers, and vendors; maintain strong customer relationships; monitor shipments and provide timely status updates; identify delays and escalate issues; support onboarding, SOP creation, and account setup; prepare customer-specific reports and assist with proposals and RFQs; coordinate transfer of information to operations; resolve issues with vendors, carriers, and internal teams; participate in meetings and continuous improvement initiatives; local on-site role with hybrid/work-from-home options not available; compensation CAD 50,000–65,000 depending on experience; benefits include extended health, life insurance, RRSP & DPSP, vacation, personal days, volunteer days, and hybrid flexibility after training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding preferred
- Bilingual (French and English) preferred
- Experience using CargoWise is preferred
- Proficiency with Mac computers, Microsoft Office, Adobe
- Strong written communication and customer-service skills
- Knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documents considered an asset
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Residence in Greater Montreal Area or ability to commute to Montreal office
