Job Summary
Customer Service Specialist I supporting the Comparator Customer Service Admin Team and the Supply Chain Support Team. Responsibilities include timely processing of client invoices, reviewing purchase and freight costs, maintaining KPI tracking, updating delivery dates in Salesforce, and ensuring 100% invoice accuracy within the same fiscal period. Key activities involve preparing and transferring documents for invoicing, coordinating with Finance on TBIs and client invoices, supporting audits, maintaining SFDC data, assisting with quotes for route of goods and VAT rules, and ensuring compliance with customer contracts. Required skills include excellent communication and negotiation in English (and German where applicable), multitasking, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office. The role operates in an office environment with standard Monday–Friday schedules within Thermo Fisher Scientific’s global operations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field OR equivalent education with significant commercial content
- 2–5 years’ experience in supply chain or finance, preferably within a pharmaceutical environment
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) and German (where applicable)
- Experience with ERP systems and MS Office
