Customer Service Specialist

Customer Service Specialist responsibilities include welcoming patients and guests to Clinica Msr. Oscar A. Romero, assisting with questions and directing to proper departments, answering calls, transferring messages, and providing information to departments; managing written campaigns and communications for target populations; translating for patients when necessary; supporting performance improvement measures; ensuring timely and comfortable patient experiences; initiating and managing communications with prospective patients, including those with limited healthcare access; making appointment reminders; responding to inquiries, and following up to ensure quality service; collaborating with quality improvement, clinic leadership, and outreach teams to engage and retain patients; coordinating community outreach and messaging materials; educating residents about CMOAR services; attending health fairs and community meetings; maintaining knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare enrollment; ensuring patient confidentiality; executing other duties as assigned; required skills include bilingual English/Spanish communication; proficiency with MS Excel and EPIC; strong written and verbal communication; ability to multitask in a busy environment; teamwork; willingness to transport to outreach events.
