Job Summary
Greet customers on phone or in-person, assess needs, and build rapport while gathering household information. Enter data into agency software systems, maintain customer files, and schedule appointments. Act as a liaison between clients and the referral program, assisting with intake applications and providing follow-up to complete the process. Conduct interviews with customers and answer inquiries to direct them to appropriate personnel. Maintain current knowledge of program rules, software updates, and safety policies while protecting agency confidentiality. Work in an office setting and residential homes, occasionally traveling in inclement weather, with a focus on teamwork and professional integrity.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of experience working in a social service-based program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass required background checks
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and provide proof of insurance
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Calculate rates, ratios, percentages, and proportions with a basic understanding of statistics, algebra, and geometry
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other computer software as applicable to the position
- Read, analyze, comprehend, and apply written procedures
- Communicate and present information
- Research and disseminate information
- Identify problems and recommend solutions
- Influence the actions of others, where empathy and perceptiveness are required to determine the best course of action

- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
