Job Summary
Public Storage property managers assess customer storage needs and make product recommendations, including selling packing and moving supplies. They perform daily unit inspections, cash handling, bank deposits, payments reminders, and collections as needed. The role involves independent work at multiple properties, outdoor tasks up to 50% of the time, lifting up to 35 pounds, cleaning/maintenance, and traveling between properties using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement). Strong customer service and sales skills in retail/service environments are required, with full-time schedules typically 9:30am–6pm (weekends until 5pm).
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
