Job Summary
Public Storage is hiring a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to manage daily operations across multiple properties, assess customer storage needs, and upsell packing and moving supplies. Responsibilities include inspecting storage units, auditing cash drawers and banking, ensuring payments/reminders, and maintaining curb appeal. Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties; ability to lift up to 35 pounds; outdoor work up to 50% of the time; works full-time with 9:30am–6pm schedule (weekends til 5pm); benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, sick time, and flex spending; mileage reimbursement provided.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between different work locations
- Own vehicle to travel between properties and conduct work-related tasks
- Lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
- Walk in/around facilities and spend up to 50% of time in outdoor environments
- Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks (sweeping/mopping interior, maintain exterior grounds)
- Experience in customer service-centered sales environments (retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based)
- Transportation/distance between properties as part of duties
- Mileage reimbursement provided
