Job Summary
Public Storage is hiring a self-storage manager to assess customer storage needs, upsell packing and moving supplies, perform daily storage unit inspections, audit cash drawers and handle bank deposits, and manage payments and collections. The role involves independent work across multiple locations, with 9:30am–6pm schedules (weekends until 5pm), full-time benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, PTO, sick time, flex spending), mileage reimbursement for travel between properties, and a driver’s license with own vehicle. Physical duties include lifting up to 35 pounds and spending up to 50% of time outdoors, including stairs and outdoor grounds maintenance. Requires experience in customer-service–focused sales environments and ability to operate in a retail/service setting.
