Job Summary
Customer Service - Self Storage Manager role at Public Storage in Greenville, SC. Responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs, suggesting packing/moving supplies, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, handling reminders and collections, and coordinating daily operations across multiple properties. Must drive between locations with own vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided); physically capable of lifting up to 35 pounds and performing outdoor/indoor duties, inspections, maintenance, and cleaning. Flexible, full-time schedules with 9:30am–6pm hours (weekends until 5pm) and the opportunity for performance-based bonuses; prior experience in customer service or sales environments (retail, restaurant, or service-based) is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies
- Valid driver’s license and ability to use own vehicle for travel between properties
- Ability to transport items weighing up to 35 pounds
- Comfort and ability to work outdoors up to 50% of time (walking facilities, stairs, etc.)
- Ability to perform cash handling, banking deposits, and scheduling/reminders for payments
