Job Summary
Public Storage is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to assess customer storage needs, suggest packing and moving supplies, conduct daily storage unit inspections, audit cash drawers, and handle payments and reminder/collection calls. The role involves working independently at multiple locations, performing outdoor and indoor duties, and traveling between properties (mileage reimbursement provided). The position requires customer-service oriented, sales-minded individuals with the ability to operate in a fast-paced retail/service environment, manage cash, and maintain facility curb appeal.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in customer service-centered sales environments (retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies)
- Valid driver’s license
- Own vehicle for travel between properties
- Ability to transport items up to 35 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors up to 50% of the time and perform cleaning/maintenance tasks
- Availability for full-time schedule between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm)
