Job Summary
Property managers handle customer storage needs, perform inspections, manage payments and reminders, and travel between multiple storage properties. Key duties include assessing storage needs, suggesting packing/moving supplies, auditing cash drawers and deposits, collecting payments, and maintaining facility curb appeal. Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle for travel between properties; ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work outdoors for portions of the day; prior customer service and sales experience in retail/food-service or similar environments is valuable; strong communication, cash-handling, and organizational skills are required. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Own vehicle to travel between locations
- Customer service experience in retail/restaurant/food service or other service-based environment
- Ability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds
- Comfort walking and working outdoors up to 50% of time
- Ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks (sweep/mop, grounds upkeep)
- Strong communication and payment collection/reminder skills
- Able to manage cash drawers and deposits
- Ability to audit inventory and ensure spaces are ready to rent
- Willingness to travel between properties as needed
