Job Summary
Provide customer service at self-storage facilities, assess customer storage needs, and suggest packing/moving supplies. Perform daily storage unit inspections to verify inventory/availability, audit cash drawers, and process bank deposits. Manage payments and send reminders/collections when needed. Travel between properties using your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement; lift up to 35 pounds and work outdoors up to 50% of the time. Work independently at multiple locations with full-time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends til 5pm); include selling supplies and maintaining curb appeal and on-site facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in customer service or sales environments
- Ability to transport items weighing up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors up to 50% of the time and indoors for the remainder
- Walk/inspect facilities daily; perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Excellent cash handling and banking deposit procedures
