Job Summary
Public Storage is hiring a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to manage properties, assess customer storage needs, and suggest packing and moving supplies. The role involves daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits, and calling customers about payments and collections when required. The position requires independence to work across multiple locations, occasional travel between properties, and the ability to perform outdoor tasks and lift up to 35 pounds. Full-time schedule between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm) with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401k with match, PTO, sick time, flex spending, and mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
- Valid driver's license and utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business.
- Ability to transport items weighing up to 35 pounds and work outdoors up to 50% of the time.
