Job Summary
Public Storage seeks a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to assess customer storage needs, upsell packing and moving supplies, perform daily unit inspections, manage cash drawers and deposits, remind and collect payments, and travel between properties. The role involves working independently at multiple locations, handling outdoor and indoor tasks, maintaining facilities, and ensuring spaces are ready to rent, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle for travel between locations
- Ability to transport items weighing up to 35 pounds
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors including climbing stairs and performing maintenance tasks
