Job Summary
Public Storage is hiring for a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager. Responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs, advising on packing and moving supplies, performing daily storage unit inspections, auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits, collecting outstanding payments, and maintaining property readiness across multiple locations. The role involves independent work at facilities, outdoor and indoor duties, transportation between properties, and interaction with customers to meet service and sales goals. Schedule is full-time between 9:30am and 6pm with weekends until 5pm, and benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k with match, PTO, sick time, flex spending, life insurance, mileage reimbursement, and bonuses based on performance. Requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, walk outdoors up to 50% of the time, and access to a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Experience from customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel between locations and conduct work-related business
