Job Summary
Public Storage is hiring a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to assess customer storage needs, suggest packing/moving supplies, perform daily inspections, manage cash handling and deposits, and support payments with reminder calls. The role requires a valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel between properties, the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and time spent both indoors and outdoors as they work across multiple locations. Candidates should have experience in customer-service oriented sales environments and be able to handle duties such as auditing cash drawers, collecting payments, and keeping spaces ready to rent. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle to travel between properties and conduct work-related tasks
- Experience in customer service-centered sales environments (retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based industries)
- Ability to transport items weighing up to 35 pounds
- Ability to walk and work in outdoor environments up to 50% of time, including stairs and outdoor conditions
- Proficiency with cash handling including auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits
- Flexibility to work full-time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm)
- Ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks and ensure properties are presentable
- Strong attention to detail for inventory checks and space readiness
- Willingness to travel between multiple locations as part of the role
