Job Summary
Greet customers with a smile, scan items accurately, and handle cash while promoting the Scheels Visa card. Resolve complex inquiries using standardized processes, calculate discounts, and balance the cash drawer. Train new cashiers, assist with front-end projects, and maintain awareness of in-store events and promotions. Work assigned schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1+ years of cashiering experience or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
