Job Summary
Greet customers, guide them to fitting rooms, and sort merchandise to ensure the sales floor stays runway ready. Process transactions, resolve customer situations, and maintain organized stockrooms while completing inventory checks and re-merchandising tasks. For stock support and fulfillment roles, unload freight, deliver new merchandise, fulfill and ship customer orders, and manage inventory systems. Maintain clean selling floors, organize backrooms, handle markdowns, and relocate store fixtures as needed. Work a flexible schedule based on business needs. This role is part of Nordstrom's retail team, where employees are empowered to deliver exceptional service and innovate within the fashion industry.
Required Qualifications
- Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
- Accountability, initiative and a high level of ownership
- Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (STOCK SUPPORT OR FULFILLMENT ROLE)
- The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
