Job Summary
Customer Service Representative role at Waste Connections in Kalispell, MT. RESPONSIBILITIES include resolving customer disputes, taking and processing orders for installation or changes in service, collecting deposits, handling change-of-address records, and preparing reports. Requires strong verbal and in-person as well as phone communication, proficiency with software applications (MS Word, Excel), and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment. Willingness to promote additional services and deliver high-quality customer service in collaboration with other departments. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; starting wage $20/hour; full benefits including 401k with company match and paid vacation. Must be able to read/write/understand English; 2 years of customer service experience preferred; college degree strongly preferred; experience with collections preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of Customer Service experience in a high call volume atmosphere
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Email preferred
- Typing and 10-key skills are required
- College degree strongly preferred
- Collections experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
